Hey everyone!

Lately, I have been really swamped with a lot of other projects and most of my time are unfortunately not used to be drawing my comics but I am honestly trying to keep up with the promised postings of my comics on Mondays and Thursdays. This week has been really rough but I managed to cough up a strip for today. It's a rushed work and I don't know if its up to my usual standards. If it is, I thank you whole heartedly but if it isnt, do bear with me just for today and I promise my next strips will resume its usual comedic quality.

In today's comic, I revisit an old joke that I used to tell my friends and since Jon has a bad memory, I'm sure he doesn't remember this old school joke.

Will he find it funny?

CONTEST: Nuffnang Stickman's Birthday Ideas

So, Nuffnang is turning five this year and this calls for yet another epic event by them which warrants them the ability to have a blog entry contest to give out exclusive invites to those who participate.

Admittedly, once again I succumb to the internet's peer pressure of coming up with an entry for the upcoming Nuffnang's 5th Birthday Bash. Because seeing so many of the other bloggers submitting their entries made me jelly so I just had to submit mine as well so I don't feel left out later. And knowing that there's a high possibility that my friend Kenwooi from kenwooi.com would be going further reinforced that idea.

So we are required to write an entry to give some ideas on how their mascot, Stickman, should celebrate his birthday this year.

As usual, the bros are always ever willing to contribute their suggestions.

But I seriously wouldn't mind having all the girls in bikinis. Seriously.

Fried Chicken Drama

Good Monday everyone? How was your weekend?

Anyways, somewhere about almost a week ago in Malaysia, there was this great incident involving a very well known fried chicken franchise and a Youtube video that has been catching fire on the news lately and every one seem to know and have something to say about it. I am not going to mention which famous fried chicken chain as they have been getting all sorts of publicity since that incident and I do not want to further contribute to that.

And also I do not want to get sued or anything if some people are just way too sensitive to take a goddamned joke.

But just in case that really went over your head and you do not have any idea on which franchise I'm talking about, it's fried chicken from Kentucky.

No I am not going to post links about it. Go Google it yourself. Seriously. It's everywhere.

So, today's comic didn't really happen but what I am trying to do today is to show you that I am aware of current issues and not just living ignorantly in my brosome little world. Today's comic serves more like a Public Service Announcement (PSA) and I hope everyone reading it gets the message.

Good morning! It is Thursday and the long holiday has ended a couple of days ago and yes. That means I'm back from wherever I was.

According to one reader, after this there will be no long holiday weekend in Malaysia for quite a bit. That is definitely ill news. We are all going to die on the Internet.

So that could only mean another comic for you today to encourage that notion.

Shamus recently had an urgent matter to tend to while we were gaming one day. I had no idea how urgent it was.

It happened too fast. Jon did not see that coming.

Shamus takes his urgent matters really seriously.

But really? Running across the house just to fart into Jon's face? What the f*** bro?

It was only the beginning of a very disgusting game.

Farting into people's faces is now a typical thing in the bros household.

If you are reading this right now, I am currently on holiday in another country. I won't know what I will be doing right now but I can be sure that right now it's a holiday in the state of Selangor in Malaysia! So to all who isn't going to school or working today, go have a great day ahead! Wreak havoc! But make sure you clean up after that.

Monopoly: Phone Call

Thursday is hitting hard and hitting fast and sooner than you know it we are en route to yet another long weekend in Malaysia (particularly in the state of Selangor)! Hurrah! We get too much holidays its a no wonder we never get anything done.

One thing you'll need to know about the bros, is that we spend quite some time playing board games together whenever we are not inflicting the world with our shenanigans. One of those in particular is the board game called Monopoly. If you haven't heard of it, you might want to thank your parents for the beautiful childhood you had.

Monopoly is a game ~~about trading and buying properties~~ where it strenuously tests your friendship and brotherhood because it brings out the a**hole in every one of us and slams us with the reality that life is cruel and if you get screwed in life you tend to get screwed forever and in the end nobody likes the game and we all hate each other.

Whoever came up with this game is a sick diabolical f***.

Here is one of the scenarios why I say this game is cruel.

Cockblocking level: Over 9000

Hey everybody! So I am back! How was everyone while I was gone?

I'm now officially suffering from the dreaded post-holiday-withdrawal-syndrome hence my inability to wake up earlier to get this posted up. Would really need a new form of boost to enable me to get back to usual routine.

Last week's break was a total blast. And now I am actually down with sore throat and flu. Hope you guys had a great time to render yourself to the point of sickness too!

Tossing The Yee Sang

Hey there! It's official! Happy Chinese New Year is here! Time to celebrate the year of the water dragon!

Wadaa~ dragon.

Okay, so during the Chinese New Year I don't usually post up a comic and I will usually take a week off from drawing comics. This is because I'm sure most of you are out celebrating and I know not many of you are are gonna read this anyways for the next few days but I'll just post this up now anyways for those of you who don't celebrate the Chinese New Year and might be sitting and relaxing at home right now.

Yes. It is because I am in an extremely festive good mood. So here's a comic based on a popular Chinese New Year tradition! Za-Zahh!! (*za-zah is not a chinese tradition)

I'm sure pretty much most of you know or heard what 'yee sang' is? It's a colourful dish comprising of god-knows-what (I seriously have no idea what those colourful strands of thingies are) and salmon bits. As per tradition, everyone whips out their chopsticks and toss it around for good luck. Apparently the higher you toss the more luck you get! This is a Chinese tradition where we do this with family and friends during the Chinese New Year.

Here is how the bros toss the 'yee sang'.

Why must you always make a mess? Just why?

I guess it's one of those kiasu (scared to lose) moments where you just want to toss your 'yee sang' all the way up to the ceiling for 'supposed' massive luck.

Other than that, they could very much be just playing with food.

I'm sure many of you make a freaking mess as well when tossing the 'yee sang'. You know who you are. *eyes suspiciously*

EVENT: Kronenbourg L'aperitif Fashion

Oh crap. Monday is no longer a holiday. For the past two weeks, we were enjoying our Mondays like they don't exist. Today is no longer that day.

Monday blues are officially settling in again.

So, several weeks ago, me and the bros were fortunate enough to be invited to this fashion event called Kronenbourg L'aperitif Fashion but rather than seeing this as a fashion event I was more inclined to see it as the official launch of the Kronenbourg beer in Malaysia. Chicks and free beer. Seriously. What more could the bros ask for?

Every New Year's Eve

Thursday and the fifth day of the new year! Just another day and it's the weekend. Seems like we're on a streak of holidays and not much work is getting done.

This calls for another comic!

This comic was supposed to be up on the previous Monday right next to the start of the new year but it had to give way to another story that has a deadline. However all not is lost as it's been only five days away and I suppose this story still is timely enough for everyone to still be able to relate to it.

Apparently a lot of us had experienced this kind of New Year's Eve at some point in our lives. This experience actually sucks.

Hey guys! So sorry for the super late than usual posting today! My computer crashed and suffered a fatal error that I had to restart drawing today's comic from scratch. Anyhow, I managed to get it done all over again after several hours. Hope the wait is worth it.

Today's topic is about a rather common incident which has happened so many times to our dearest Jon. Bless his heart. Do let me know if this also has happened to you or to someone else you know so that he does not feel that bad.

We have never seen Jon run so fast before in our entire lives. Other than that one other time when he was chased by a dog.

This was actually one of the many similar incidences that has happened to Jon but miraculously and luckily for him, his laptop was never missing and always seem to be in the same spot seemingly waiting for him. Despite how forgetful he is, he has never lost his laptop this way before. We don't know how he does it. Seriously.

Just in case you are a little confused by the third panel, "The crocodile hides in the wadaaa~" is just one of the random sh*t that Jon says from time to time. I still don't know what it exactly means but I laugh anyways. Shamus seems to really get it.

Know Your Bros Better: One Saturday Night Out

Hey everybody! Sorry for the slight delay in today's posting. Encountered a small hiccup along the way. Crisis averted and I still manage to have today's comic up by today!

This time we revisit a favourite series of the comic, the "Know Your Bros Better" series where if you are familiar with it, I drew on random topics such as instant noodles, sleeping styles, mothers, fathers, teachers, exams and a few more others. I know I haven't done this one in a while so here it is again. It might be slightly different conceptually though but I hope you enjoy it all the same.

So, we're just about 2 weeks away till the year 2011 ends (I actually had an awesome 2011 so far) and around this time of the year, events and parties are thriving like nobody's business and everyone is just getting out there to get their party on before they welcome in the year 2012.

In conjuction of the year end party season, here's another "Know Your Bros Better" and it is all about parties! On one Saturday night.

Hey good Monday morning everybody! Why is it good? It's because it is a holiday in Malaysia today yet again!

What? No? It's only in one state that's having a holiday? Not the whole country? Everyone else is still working? Oh.

Well maybe that explains why today's posting is a little delayed as it being a holiday (in my state), I overslept thus causing a slight delay in today's comic.

C'mon, gimme a break guys. I haven't had such a good nights rest for the longest time.

We'll continue from where we left off from the previous episode. In the previous post, I did mention that Shamus eventually went to a salon to get his hair fixed after being sneakily damaged by Jon, and he still comes out of there with the most ridiculous hairstyle anyone has ever seen. Aaannnd I'm back from yet another trip! How have you guys been?

It's Monday and you know what that means: Time to work your ass for your boss so you don't get fired. Or slack off and ready today's comic!

So, continuing from where we left off last week, I encountered a roach in the toilet and enlisted Jamus's 'expertise' to rid off that vermin. He didn't do a very good job. Turns out the "demon's" rampage was far from over and was only the beginning when it continued to ignite deeper fear into our souls and escalate the entire household into utter madness.

Okay, I might have exaggerated on that. But that sonofabitch did commit more atrocities in that small area of the house within that short period of time.

If you are reading this right now, I am most probably somewhere slightly down south right now for yet another trip (not nearly south enough to be in hell even though many people think I deserve that) so I won't be able to respond to your comments or emails for a few days. So please don't be offended or terkilan that when you do not get a reply from me. I just happen to be away a lot these days.

Okay that aside, recently there was a terror in the house and it seems to be above its evolutionary standards. Its faster, smarter and more dangerous than any of us expected.

Good morning everyone!

I sense that today there isn't any Monday blues going around because its a public holiday today in Malaysia! Awww yeahh! Wishing all my Muslim readers Selamat Hari Raya Haji!

So, I'm sure that most of you are still in bed relishing the day like nobody's business and I wish I could too but I promised in my previous post that there will be a comic for today so here I am. ~~Me and my damned mouth.~~

Unless you are a hardcore comic reader or not from Malaysia and happen to be slacking off in the office or at school and swallowing the Monday blue pill on routine, I guess this comic justifies its presence today.

Before I continue, sorry for the delay in today's posting. I got stuck in meeting. Now I'm back to business. I'll let you know first that there is no comic today but I would like to take this opportunity to ~~ramble on things you might not care about~~ say something. Bear with me it might be a bit wordy.

This will be the first post for November and it is rather special to me because so many good things has happened so early in this month which I have not seen it coming ever since I began drawing comics online in September last year. Not to mention that November is also my birthday month so I would guess all these gifts are the best gifts I've received so far. Coincidental as it might be, I am very touched and deeply grateful.

First off, if you have been updated by the comic's official Facebook page, (Yes. That is where I post all my latest updates of the ongoings related to the bros and the comics, so click 'LIKE' if you haven't now!) you may have noticed that lately the comic series has received acknowledgements from two big players in the media industry.

A week before November, I received a call from Thara of Nuffnang, informing me that I will be November's featured blogger of the month. It was something that I had never expected to have from the very first day I signed up with Nuffnang. I remembered scrolling down their website and seeing that they have a column on the bottom left and featuring bloggers every month. I told myself at that time, "Fat hopes you Chinese geek boy you will never get to be featured in Nuffnang! Muahahaha!" The mouth of my subconscious mind is very cruel to me sometimes.

Nevertheless, after a year and a month, I was actually announced the featured blogger of the month!

Who's laughing now you stupid subconscious mind?! You f***!

I curse to myself a lot.

Anyways, I hope you are not straining your eyes to read the text in that image so here's the link to the full article in case you haven't read it yet.

I extend my deepest thanks to Nuffnang for having me and giving me something which was beyond my expectations.

Then, within the next two days, my comic (alongside several others) was featured in the Star Newspaper's RAGE column as a cover story. Also, I never mentioned it anywhere but I have also reached the milestone of my 100th comic strip and I hadn't realised it up till now. It's about 105+ strips already actually and I was so engrossed in churning out strips week after week that I was entirely oblivious to this. Another milestone achieved earlier was also the 1,000th like on the comic's Facebook page. All of these that were beyond what I had expected the moment I decided to begin drawing comics on the Internet.

So much, in such a short time and I do really hope I will be able to keep this momentum. But what I am trying to say here is that, all of these could not have come to be if it weren't for you, the person reading this right now. Your continuous and undying support has been the fuel for me to keep going with this series and I admit there were really tough times where I just wanted to toss my computer out the 15th floor window and give up entirely but all the likes, the comments, the responses, the shares, the reviews, the etc. that you guys pour out thus far has ensured that I do not lose my sanity to my comics. I know this is a little cliche and you may have heard it a million times but it still does not deny the fact that I could not have done it without every single one of you. Friends, families, enemies and all.

I am touched by all your kind words and encouragement and I will continuously do my best to pour out the best quality content for your cognitive pleasure as long as I do not suffer a burn out which I honestly do hope of not having.

I do not know how to show my gratitude in a justifiable manner and thanking each and everyone of you name by name will take ages as the list will go on and on.

Therefore, I shall do it in the only way I know how. Remember, this is dedicated to you.

Hey guys! I am back from my northern trip. Where its rain rain rain ~~and flood flood flood.~~ all day long! Brilliant! I guess we can resume with the usual business.

Monday blues. That dreaded asshole day that nobody likes.

Anyways, I'm feeling rather blue due to two things:
1.) I came home from my trip and finding that one of my precious 'babies' is broken and I am doing all in my power to fix her. But the fact of knowing that she is 'broken' makes me sad.
2.) I missed all the awesome Halloween parties out there. Also I forgot to make one poster for it. It would have been so awesome.
And most importantly...
3.) I TOTALLY forgot that whilst I was away without easy access to the Internet, Deepavali came and gone just like that and due to my absent mindedness, I forgot to come up with a festive poster for one of the most important celebrations in Malaysia. I'm really sorry and I wish a belated Happy Deepavali to all! I know this doesn't fix anything and I didn't mean to insinuate myself as being a racist f***. Perhaps I should have been more prepared before leaving for my trip. Sorry once again.

We are having yet another collab strip. ~~Stop picking your nose!~~ This series was lucky enough to be graced by the likes of other awesome comic blogs such as Bolehland, Akiraceo and Pouleen already but I guess we could go for another couple more! This is supposed to be a long time coming as the sweet couple that we are mentioning here today tied the knot several months ago and the bros had the opportunity to attend their buffet lunch wedding! Was supposed to tell the story of our "apparent" encounter a long time ago but only managing to tell about it now. I hope it has not gone stale. Anyway, here it is! Okay I lied so we didn't exactly get to meet the couple. Sadly, we didn't make it in time to their wedding buffet lunch. But it felt like we did. Or rather that is what I would expect to happen if we did make it to the buffet.

This incident happened rather recently which have left one of the bros scarred for life. I won't spoil it right now but telling you who so read on to find out. But tread with caution. You might be scarred too.

Hey guys and happy Thursday everyone! Today is a special entry so there's no comic for today but the artwork is awesome!

Tomorrow is another special day in Malaysia's calendar of national holidays and because it is none other than, ~~the super-epic-fun-time-holiday-for-no-good reason-just-because-we-hate-going-to-work~~ MALAYSIA DAY!

Aloha Thursday everyone! It's almost the weekend ~~and I can smell the freshness of it already! No wait that's just Jon farting in the living room again.~~

This is a little longer than usual so please bear with me a little here and read the text first before going onto today's strip.

~~Seriously what is that smell? Is Jamus experimenting something in the kitchen again?~~

As some of you may or may not know, "Bro, don't like that la, bro" is turning ONE YEAR OLD TOMORROW! Yes! On 9th September 2011, this webcomic series will turn a year old! How time flies ~~when Daryl is always in his underwear~~! Well, it has been a crazy year (not as crazy as knowing and living with the bros for so many years) doing this comic series weekly has been a blast! Thanks to everyone who have been supporting this series thus far and I appreciate all the feedback, comments and emails, good or bad, that you have given me and getting such great remarks from you guys is like having Christmas every day. Without you guys, this comic would have gone down the drain within two months but you guys really made it happen and I am glad to have great readers like you guys!

Therefore, today's episode will be a special massive edition to commemorate this wonderful first year of doing this series! I didn't want to do a "how this comic came to be strip" because in reality this comic came about from a very boring story involving a paper, pencil, a reluctant challenge and a pinch of jealousy but that's a story for another time. ~~Shamus, can you please tone down that Bieber tune? Goddamit.~~

So here it is, a happy first year strip from me about just another random day in the life of the bros. Title translation: What are you?

Happy Thursday everyone! So glad that today is considered a public holiday in Malaysia as well, as Merdeka Day's holiday (which was yesterday) was brought forward to today as it clashed with yesterday's public holiday (Hari Raya). Yep. We get replacement holidays in Malaysia.

So, replacement holidays here and there, today's comic is in conjunction with Merdeka Day (which was yesterday). Being Malaysians, we automatically will learn to speak a minimum of two languages from the day we are born. Bahasa Melayu a.k.a. malay, will be one of the compulsory languages that we will have to learn to speak as it is the national language but many non-Malay Malaysians do not treat it as a main language hence their malay speaking capabilities will usually sound weird in the ears of our Malaysian Malay comrades resulting in them not speaking it altogether unless really and desperately required. And that is a sad case for out national language.

But I grew up in a Malay speaking community, so even though being a Malaysian Chinese, my malay sounds exactly like how a Malaysian Malay would speak and it would not sound weird, which resulted in a situation that I've depicted into today's comic.

This particular incident happened sometime a year ago while I was at a fast food joint. I'm not sure if it's funny, but I hope it does give you something to think about.

In case, you don't understand Bahasa Melayu, here's a full translation:
Me: Hi. I would like to order a chicken burger set meal with a drink of Coke. Please do not put so much ice in my drink.
Girl: Wah! Your malay is very fluent! Are you Malay? You look so fair!
Me: Haha! No! Do I really look like a Malay?
Girl: Not really actually but the way you speak Malay has no weird slang in it. So, I suppose you're Chinese?
Me: Wrong! I'm not Chinese as well.
Girl: Huh?! Seriously?!! Then, what are you? Tell me properly!
Me: I'm Malaysian laaa....
Girl: Ish! How embarrassing...

So here's the point I'm trying to make; I would really wish people would stop saying that they are Malay, or Chinese, or Indian or whatsoever when asked. Even when we fill up forms in Malaysia, we have to tick in the check box to define our ethnicity. Are we really that racist? We should only be taking ethnicity into account for crime investigation purposes and other serious matters but not for things such as applying for a scholarship, or a job, etc. as it will result in racial profiling.

Isn't that a little ridiculous considering that we have been an independent nation for 54 goddamned years? We should be able to call categorize ourselves as Malaysians and shouldn't differentiate ourselves solely by skin colour. Then like that-lah only we are betul-betul ONE Malaysia!

Satu kaum. Satu Malaysia.

Good Monday morning! I had the longest weekend ever and I thought it will never end. (no, I did not had fun if that's what you are thinking.)

So it came to my attention that we are now in the last quarter of the year and many of my readers are going to have their MAJOR exams soon and I'm sure many of you are already preparing to brace the full force and impact of you respective exams. I wish those having their exams all the best and here are some tips from the bros:

Do not do these unless you wish to fail your exams.

We were so screwed.

Moral of the day is: Always start preparing early! (Okay, maybe the bros aren't the best role models to be telling you guys that but hey, don't be like us.)

I have a great feeling this situation happens to almost everyone at least once in their lives.

Recently, I was involved in one of the stupidest moments in my life. I won't spoil it by saying it here. The comic will tell you about it.

In case you don't understand Bahasa Melayu, bodoh means stupid.

I couldn't even have my cereal in peace after that.

So then I just did the most logical thing I had in mind to counter the situation.

This was the best I could come up with.

Fighting fire with fire is totally the dumbest shit I've ever heard of. Jon and Shamus thoroughly enjoyed that.

I think I might have been living in this house with these guys for too long.

Dogsitting: Part 5

Sorry I was late in today's upload! Was watching some movie in some cinema in some movie theater somewhere and somehow loss track of time and space. Nonetheless, here is Thursday's upload!

We now continue to the finale of the Dogsitting series! I know it doesn't have much development (or much humour) as in the Pengotor series but just how many things can you do to a dog, right? (other than physically abusing it)

In this finale, we look at the final bro, Jamus and how he shows his love to Jasmine's lovely dog, Mocha.

Hey guys! I'm back from my holidays! We came home and were very surprised to see the house is still intact. We suspect Daryl might have caused some big havoc when we were not around that he quickly cleaned up to remove all traces of evidence.

Also no fluffy puppy carcass! But there might be one in today's strip...

So as promised, we continue on Mocha's adventure with the bros!

This time, we look at how I interacted with the stupid dog.

This one REALLY did happen almost exactly except for the last part. Mocha did not have a concussion and fainted, thank the bloody heavens for that. She just simply walked away after the impact. (Yes, Mocha is a female dog in case you haven't noticed it yet)

But Jasmine still gave me an ass kicking though.

This was a real life incident where we caught one of the bros in one of his most embarassing moments. It's a rather old story and might not be that funny but ehhhhhh what the heck, just thought I'd share this story with you guys.

Okay don't get me wrong I'm not dissing any Bieber fans. It's just that Shamus was really rocking out (horribly) to the Bieber tune that he looked like a chimpanzee with early stages of multiple sclerosis. And he was really enjoying himself.

Lame joke this round I know. Sorry guys! I did this one in a rush just to make sure there's an upload today so yeah.... I apologize for the lack of conviction in my jokes and storytelling this round and wasted your time reading something stupid today.

Good Monday everyone! Looks like today, (I'm unsure about the rest of the world), in Malaysia, today is Teacher's Day! It's a day where school kids get to give presents and appreciate their teachers and goof off the entire day during lessons as apparently Teacher's Day in Malaysia is like a holiday for all the teachers but you still have to come to school but not teach.

So, in conjuction to show my love and appreciation to all teachers of Malaysia, here's a special Teacher's Day comic for you guys! It's another one for the "Know Your Bros Better" series!

Ok I'm not trying to portray teachers as being sadistic beings that constantly rain on our parade. Someone told me that the teacher I drew in this strip looks like a scary shark but that's not the point! To look at it in another way, we were the rascal ones that sometimes infuriate our teachers. I guess it's their care and love that we didn't turn out so crazy and demented today. (C'mon. Daryl might have turn out even worse without the aid of teachers)

Hey guys! I don't know if I should consider this a double comic week as today's "strip" isn't much of a comic but more like the extended version of the Facebook status Shamus uploaded in the previous episode but oh hey, what the eff: IT'S DOUBLE COMIC WEEK AGAIN!

Sadly, what you just saw is just a recreation of what transpired over the social network and this is not the exact screen capture of the comment thread on Shamus's wall as Shamus was kind enough to delete it just after Jon did a mega-punch to his shoulder. This is as close as I could remember on the thread which only lasted approximately 20 minutes. Even so, the damage is done and the whole incident is now recorded in my comic blog.

Just in case you guys are wondering, it actually took me months to have Jon's approval to let the world know about this incident and super thanks to Jon for being such a sport! Well, you are famous now.... I guess...

I'm back! Sorry guys for the lack of upload last week. I was busy riding on a velociraptor, straddling a rocket bazooka on one shoulder with a bottle of Jack Daniels in my other free hand, shooting the skies while cussing bad words to the one almighty upstairs or maybe I was blastedly high on cocaine and illicit drugs that I couldn't tell apart reality from fiction. (ok fine, none of that happened. I wish my life was cool like that. No guys, I was just swamped from the overload of real life responsibilities thus rendering me unable to come up with anything last week. Sincerest apologies on that.)

Heres this week's upload! It's a long story and consists of several parts that could stretch over for a month plus if I only upload once per week. This particular story is very, VERY true.

Welcome back guys! I just realised that my postings for this month is extremely scarce compared to usual standards but I assure you that I will resume posting at normal speed once my new place has the Internet!

Speaking of which, I recently had a discussion about how dangerous the Internet can be. Cases like phishing sites, viruses, spyware, malware, fake lotteries, your friend who somehow got stuck in the UK, the Nigerian prince and such tales tells that the Internet is thriving with such predators and opportunists, just waiting to pounce on any gullible individual for their hard earned life savings. But one other type of predator that does not go after your wallet is this type:
